Why We Dance
Nobody really teaches us how to dance. We just start. Maybe that's why we dance: not to be seen, but to disappear for a little while, together.
1 September 2026
Nobody really teaches us how to dance.
We just start.
Maybe that's what makes a dance floor so special. There is no right way to move, no perfect rhythm, no script to follow. Just sound, bodies and a room slowly becoming something else.
Long before clubs and DJs, humans were already gathering around rhythm. We clap, stomp, sing, move. Somehow, the body understands music before the mind does.
And then there's that moment when you stop thinking about how you look.
You close your eyes.
The bass hits.
You're gone.
Maybe that's why we dance. Not to be seen, but to disappear for a little while.
To forget the clock.
To forget the outside world.
To simply be somewhere, moving with everyone else.
For a few hours, that's enough.
Dance Long night
